I don't know what's come over me but I've been on a cooking roll lately! On friday I made all of this:

(although I swapped butterscotch chips for choc chips)

I needed a break from chocolate pudding so I tried this, Jay really liked it!
And check out this mashies...only 4 points!

Then today, I fired up the crockpot to make this....

My favorite kind of crockpot recipe, just dump everything in & put it on low. Jay & I are going to eat it for lunch this week.
As you can tell, I'm going a little crazy with the skinnytaste, but I've really enjoyed everything that I've made so far. Super easy & super yummy. Tomorrow I'm making this:

I'll be sure to let you know how it turns out!!
I really like to eat...a lot. So I'm always on the lookout for some tasty recipes. And I also like to know what my friends are cooking/eating (which you know if you've eaten out with me & I give you the sad eyes until you let me taste your food). I thought it would be a good idea to have a place where we can talk about food, especially recipes (even if they are not successful).

Finally!
Hey guys,
I've been wanting to get this blog up for a while. I hope it will be a place where we can talk about tasty meals, whether they be homemade or a restaurant that we should all try. I'll start off by saying that I had (another) super fantabulous meal last night at Dolce. I've been there five times and I've never been disappointed. I had the pasta Amitriciana with shrimp. So frikkin delicious...bucatini pasta with shallots, pancetta and tomato sauce. Yum. I would totally go back & order the same thing again.
On the recipe front, I'm loving skinnytaste.com On Tuesday Jay made the chicken rollatini with spinach parm. It was really delicious. I served it with pasta, but it would be super good with some spaghetti squash too. I tend to crave chicken parm a lot, so it is good to have a healthier version in rotation...and only 5 points! Here's the link to the recipe.
